How do they compare to a muff? Also where do you buy them?

The Rat is a cool distortion that can get into muff territory at the most extreme distortions settings, but has a much tighter bass and responds well to guitar volume changes in the lower distortion settings. It will do classic rock to grungy chunk. So, I'd say it is more versatile than a muff. Google em to see where they're available!

This one had the TI chip. Not much difference, really. The LM is overhyped by the tone snobs.
