no joke this news will break in like 12 hours but alex rodriguez was arrested for selling steroids in the dominican republic again and he was apparently giving them out to some of his teammates during the end of the season-playoffs. Wow what a way to taint a season

@lumpagogo There never will be a salary cap because the large market teams and players union will never approve one. They should create a salary floor so these cheap owners will invest in their teams instead of pocketing revenue and welfare from revenue sharing.

Thank you. The biggest lie in Pro sports is that "small market" teams don't make money and can't afford to pay top players. Forbes magazine exposed all that BS by publishing a full financial breakdown. Revenue sharing (TV/merchandise) GUARANTEE that every team makes big profits.

Hello, j-z. Guess you are right--and you posited an excellent suggestion as regards a "salary floor." Brilliant.

@4lifemetfan The Yankees actually have one of the best farm systems in MLB. They have plenty of prospects to replace Derek, Andy, Mo and Posada. So you don't know what you're talking about, and if you don't believe me look it up. The Yankees can buy and develop players.

In unrelated & contradictory-to-my statement-about-there-being-no thing-wrong-with-gays-news: Sports suck. Anyone who likes sports is probably gay anyway. Football and baseball especially. Think about it, you enjoy watching a bunch muscular, athletic men run around catching balls, fumbling balls, running to get balls, tackling each other and getting on piles, getting all hot and sweaty. And best of all, you're fighting over what team does these homo-erotic actions better. Think about that.

I don't really give two shits about sports but wow, way to be an uneducated dipshit. Lets see, they had one guy who did steroids like once in his life a long time ago, everyone is a fucking drunk driver, but you can't really verify any of this team is can you? Where's your cited sources, or are you just pulling this all out of your ass. Same deal with drugs. For all we know you could be a pothead. Thats an addiction. And there's nothing wrong with gays unless you're a scared, ignorant shithead.

@mellymanfamily When will some of you people stop talking about steroids because every team had steroid users so you sound like an idiot when you bring that up. And Homosexuals ? I didn't know the yankees had gay players but I guess you're the one that's gay since you focus on gay people so much.
