Mini Ninjas running on the dolphin emulator SVN 5190 in 1080p HD.
The game can be played at good in HD even with fraps recording. This goes to show that with a strong enough PC wii games on dolphin can be emulated quite well.

the game is running rather slowly in the video and without sound becuase to get this game to go ingame you need to use the DSP-LLE plugin. There is sound when using the LLE sound plugin but it is very distored and painful to hear.
Now i say ingame, the menu's ect work with the HLE plugin but the game will freeaze once you try to go ingame.
Frame rates vary from 30-50FPS normally woithout fraps, so in some area's the game is not really affected by fraps though the speed is still dissapointing.

Just a note, i did record the menu's and such with the HLE plugin to have some sound in the video.

Running the PAL version.

Links to the emulator are on my channel.

Recorded using FRAPS 2.98

PC Specs:
-Intel Core i7 920 @ 4.05Ghz
-Corsair 6GB DDR3 1600Mhz C8D RAM
-XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB DDR5 (OC)
-Seagate SATA II 500GB HDD
-Corsair HX-650W
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

My settings for the emulator are;

Dual core and idle skipping on.
to have progressive scan on.
I also have the frame limit is off.
Graphics: Direct3d9
I have EFB to texture enabled and all other option defaulted. The resolution is set to 1920x1080.
Audio: DSP-LLE:
I have all options checked and the volume on 1%.

All other plugins are defaulted.

Enjoy the video and please rate.

  • @paulmateicraiu hahaha, yea its an odd bug, i only have 4 cores and 8 virtual cores :)

  • yo dude, have you tried sonic racing? i did, it work fine, just the intro and menu are buggy, at 1920x1080..with 4xmsaa i got 60 fps in training, but just 25 in real races...let me know how it work for you. aniway 5*

  • i have but it keeps hanging every time i go into a race so i cant get ingame really. I managed to fix the menu bugs with a few hacks but it doesnt do much good when the game doesnt work :(

  • you videos are awesome iNexXxuS but why do you play some games on the emulator if you have them for PC?

  • i rarely play any games on the emulator. i just do video's to show what games do work and update the progress of the emulator.

if i have the game on pc, i'll always play the pc version.

    edit:

for what i saw it doesnt work on any rev superior to 4771, with ssa enabled...dunno if this can help.

  • using openGL and efb to ram fix alot of issues in the menu for me, but make the game unplayable..i just bypass the menu with a save files..then it play mostly at full speed almost all the time...about your problem im not sure but maybe is related to audio plugins...i dont rebember my settings right now...if you want i let you know tomorrow
