He's FAR from the best drummer in the metal scene. Lars was my main when I began drumming, though. In the pre-Load/ReLoad years he had some of the quickest feet I've seen. Justice is still one of the most difficult albums to cover. Only because he's in Metallica people think he's the best and such.

@patlavert i think hes lightened up a little over the years, when they got out of their alternative era i think he woke up and realized he kinda sucked as a person. I met him at a mall in Dublin and he seemed like a really cool guy

@carerragted Lars has had a shitload of great performances, seattle is just one of the few that were put on DVD. Den Bosch, San Diego, and Moscow were some of his best if you ask me. This was sick though

this is the best ive heard seek and destroy! lars f***ing killed it in this song, they harmonize "searching", and of course kirk just kills the solo like always! i can listen to this version all day!

I am a drum teacher and Lars is awesome. It is not a sport. It is about playing the right thing at the right time. Not about how many notes you can fit in
