Nemov is amazing no question. This was his last Olympics and he deserved better on this routine. He really handled all that with grace and seeing his face while the crowd is going on and on you can tell just how appreciative he is of it. Whatever the outcome of that final he will never forget that.

@SVETAfotini: You sound very bitter and envious in your hatred of America. Take it down a notch, my friend, as well as your arrogance. You say no American is educated and you can't talk to uneducated people (you must not have been educated in English however, b/c it's really bad). As you know, many, many Russians come to the US for college, hence the problem of "brain drain" in Russia.
Then you blame the US for all of Russia's problems. Stop playing the victim and being so elitist!

First the 2000 Vault controversy (officials forgot how to use a tape measure), and then the TOTAL debacle in 2004 when judges/officials forgot how to add and subtract. I just can't watch gymnastics anymore.
Let's face it, the judging has always been a joke, but it reached new heights starting in 2000 and it has not stopped.

мне интересно, американец который "взял" золото, гордиться своей победой или нет? я бы на его месте отдал бы награду -Алексею, т.к. он и сам понимает, что это не его медаль. Немов навсегда в наших сердцах. горжусь тем, что он россиянин!
