http://www.interactive-biology.com - In this lecture, I talk about Cellular respiration, which consists of Glycolysis, the Krebs Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain.

I deal with how Glucose is broken down and how ATP is made. Since energy is important for all living things, it's important to understand how ATP, the energy currency of the body, works.

  • @EthioStunnerr19 Well, that should be easy :) We hope you've prepared for it well. Good luck!

  • Honestly though, my teacher used this very video for review, and tommorow i'm having a test about it. Thank you for helping!

  • @joeyoshs well, that's great! We hope you'll ace your test. Good luck! :)

  • @InteractiveBiology

    I got an 80 with a 4 point curve (so 84)

  • @joeyoshs I guess that would be good enough, right? :) Keep on learning more with us. We have more videos at the site that might help you a lot. Have fun learning!

  • your amazing, i wish you were my professor

  • Doesn't the electron transport chain release 32-34 ATP in an ideal environment, and 2 ATP in the Citric Acid Cycle because there are 2 pyruvates?

  • Thank you! this actually made sense and I get it now.

  • Regarding the Krebs Cycle, doesn't the cycle go around twice which makes the final product 2 ATP, 6 NADH, 2 FADH2 and what about the H+? Would you also add to the final product 6H+?

  • This helped a lot! I have a final tomorrow and was really worried about this, so thanks a whole bunch!

  • @Chulega007

and you think he is gay because you are as well? and you want him?...fuck off....people like you ruin whats good in this earth......learn to appreciate people like this teacher.....people like him truly make a difference...you are probably an idiot and ignorant....

  • This is awesome. I've watched about 30 some videos on glycolysis and didnt quite get it until i watched your video. You are an awesome, interactive teacher. This is how all teachers should be. Great job!!!

  • @g0ld3n88 38 ATP...i believe , 36 is the net gain....from the gradient....in the mitochrondial inner membrane matrix , and then ATP synthase

  • You're amazing! Coenzyme A to form Acetyl CoA. Oh, and, Stomp. LOL Got it!

  • Thank you so much! I left my notes at school and I was able to study using your video.

  • awesome explanation! thanks for your effort. is there a way to watch the whole presentation, including the ETC? and i also read about it only releasing 32 to 34 ATP in the ETC, what is different in your model? thank you very much
