This video is bullshit, peta doesn't care about dogs. Their philosophy of "total animal liberation" means NO PETS, therefore the actually want domestic dogs and cats to go extinct.

Although Peta is doing admirable work, these animals need permanently rescuing from such ignorant owners. The conditions they are being kept in as prisoners, chained to their prison, is unbelievably cruel. Don't they have laws in the US to protect animals against this type of abuse? It's shocking. I am in the UK and it would not be tolerated here. The owners should be prosecuted and banned from keeping animals. Where is law enforcement one wonders? I would love to cut those barbaric chains.

Most pet stores (ones that do not sell animals, of course!) sell cruelty-free dog food. You can also find a list of vegan dog foods at PETA.org!

For the person who said "dogs have fur for a reason is an idiot. Lets put you outside in a warm parka and see how you do over a few weeks. You still need extra protection. Most of those dogs had only a house and nothing else.. Hooked up to a chain and frozen water. Horrible conditions. Why do people get animals in the first place, only to hook them up outside and forget about them. They get a few minutes of human interaction, when fed and that's it. WHY HAVE A DOG? God bless the two of you!
