  • Its Frightening how this guy can hold such an influential role in one of our major political parties, yet he conducts himself in a manner only fitting for a crazy leader of some weird cult.

This boy is an odd ball and certainly not a person I'd feel comfortable managing our country's finances!!! Let's make sure he doesnt get his hands on our country's wallet, ensure you vote smart this Saturday.....

  • The whole asset sales thing is Labour trying to scare people. 51% is a controllong share. Key has said he will introduce a law so that one person or entity can have a max of 10% of the shares. Nzers will get the first chance. The most likely group to buy are KiwiSaver funds which at the moment have very little options to invest in NZ. They invest heavily in Aussie companies. CGT will no fund all Labour's promises and depress the housing market even more therefore the tax take is less.

  • @gu3ss1t ARE YOU SPEEKING OF DONKEY

  • David Cunliffe and David Shearer and the rest of the labour party. Need to spend a few minutes watching the youtube videos of Milton Friedman. They are lessons kiwis have learnt and understand the basic economics behind. Yet they ran a campaign that assumed NZ is a country of fools.

  • Labour spent 9 years buying election after election with future dated promisses of excessive spending. That spending threw thousands of kiwis into unemployment.

  • @MegaJackYa He's a traitor to his class!

  • David Cunliffe lives in Herne Bay in a mansion!!! Herne Bay is the first $2m suburb in New Zealand. What a hypcrite. How can he slam John Key who was raised in a state house, worked very hard and has provided for his family. John Key gives his salary to charity. Maybe David Cunliffe should do the same?? He clearly isn't short of a few dollars.

  • Can't wait for the 2014 debates lol

  • What a wally, lets hope Labour make him the leader. I can't believe we're wasting tax payers money paying this dork

  • Dance of the desparates! "We don't need to live in a mansion in East Auckland...." No, you prefer a mansion in Herne Bay - don't you David Cunnliffe????? LOL!

  • We have the resources and technology for each home to generate it's OWN electricity anyway - this should create a competitive market with cheap power prices... The Greens will probably try and stop you though, and resource consent, much to the delight of the power companies... So really it's government legislation that drives up the cost of things - not "asset sales"... These loopy lefties have everything back to front...
