  • I woke up late for work yesterday... it's all Bush's fault.

  • Bring It On Bitch - BIOB

  • I prefer BIOBP "Blame it on both partys". CONGRESS is resposible for approving or disapproving all spending and budgets. Not Presidents. They can stop funding on non declared wars at any time. But don't. They could stop funding wasteful spending like Cash for Clunkers, bailouts (both Bush and Obamas), etc. Stop blaming Presidents and put the blame where it should go, on Congress. They can say NO to a president on spending and should at times when the ppl they represent are screaming NO.

  • standard State of the Union address...

every president blames the predecessor. except this time its true!

  • "bashing bush"? Obama just stated facts and figures. I know that confuses Fox people, but that's not "bashing" - it's fighting back against a right-wing historical revisionism that put 9/11 before Bush and the worst economic state of affairs since the Great Depression after Bush. Bush was the worst President in American history and there's no runnin' away from that fact.

  • of course, Bush left a broke country. not to mentioned Gandpa here supported bush all the way, thus, part responsible for this crisis.

  • " To understand the State of the Union,

we must look not only at where we are and where we're going but WHERE WE'VE BEEN. The situation at this time last year was truly ominous." "...The INHERITANCE of decades of tax and tax and spend and spend."

R.REAGAN State of the union address 1/26/82

"Last year, Government spending shot up

    8 percent.

...we must take a different path."

G.W.Bush first address to congress 2/21/01
