"The Loot", aka "Bloody Tattoo", starring David Chiang, Norman Chu and Ko Fei. One of Eric Tsang's earliest directorial efforts, concerning a mother lode of stolen jewelry and a pair of rival bounty hunters eventually working together to find it. Up there with the Jackie Chan classics of the time for genuine laughs, and I don't mean the dub this time, although, of course, there's fun to be had there as well. Fight scenes are also quite spectacular, as David Chiang surprises many with the best stuff of his career, but I don't see why the shock after "Shaolin Mantis".
He's *back* ladies and gentlemen -- and just as good as always.
