Thanks for the response. If you have a sugar free recipe, please send it over I don't re-call many grandmothers that didn't use sugar. i wonder if you judge pepsi, coke,

snapple, or any other high sugar items with such scritiny? Thousands of people love this simple recipe, if its not for you, it's all good.

I know cooking is a task, but can you believe i went to a well known Harlem soul-food restaurant, and was served INSTANT MASHED POTATOES and CANNED CANDIED YAMS!

Nothing wrong with short cuts at HOME, but when I'm paying $40 for one serving of soul-food, please at least warn its not the real mccoy

I learned my lesson and am warning others - the food you receive may be overpriced and generic, stick with granny and learn from her so you wont have to pay and settle!

@pkeller82 I liked it, I think you are a bit harsh, some of us need simple and quick. Adjust it to fit your diabetes or use substitute sugar! Like with any recipe, we can adjust them to our liking or to our taste.

I love it, that's my kind of cooking because I am not a chef. If you are a chef why are you watching to criticize Chef Mel. I love your recipes because they are for us simple folk that don't have or want to take all day cooking. Keep 'em coming Mel.

Recipe is tooo boring. Ya gotta put everything in a BOWL and stir, ya taking all the fun out of it. What happened to homemade or at least roll out crust. Sorry. Boring coming from a Chef. :)

@theblackfoodnetwork Bro, are you serious? I wanted so hard to give you credit...You don't even deserve to wear that Chef Jacket. The presentation is terrible...Your peaches are fake, Pie crust don't even fit the glass pan, then you add caramel on it.....What kind of mess is that??? NO I dont want to see this recipe ever again unless I want diabetes...
