I have a question: when you're going back down the strings (like at 3:38 in the vid) you are not muting w/ your left hand. How are you muting the high strings as you go down?
ive got a big problem playing with this technique... when i startet playing bass (5 weeks ago) i played with my thumb near the e-string and now i try to play like this :D and now it doesnt really work 4 me -.-

I've been playing bass on and off for 30 years but there's no way I seem to be able to come to a speed close to yours at 8:45. What's the secret ?
