I hope that genocide does breakout when we leave, it would cause us to really rethink our foriegn policy, to be cautious and to give ourselves a close look in the mirror next time we go to war. To make damned sure that we have;
1. A good, honest and well thought out reason before we go to war.
2. An exit strategy.
3. A set of goals.
4. If we go we go with overwhelming force.

Let me ruin your arguement once and for all. Surrender means our soldiers drop their weapons and are taken prisoner. NOBODY has suggested doing that. It isn't "surrendering or "cutting and running", when we leave because our whole premise for this war was bullshit.

And I'm sure they cried when Bush vetoed it. They can't win against Bush over this war, no matter how many non-binding resolutions they pass or how much pork they put into war funding bills.
