@psmadme I can see why the media doesn't show it, what is new here, every time there is something new in the military built, people protest it, these fighters are what gives you the right to wave signs around and state your opinion. I plan on joining the Air National Guard when I am older flying tankers, they keeping these fighters flying, and I don't have any problem with that whatsoever

The Blue Angels may be solely for recruiting but you need to have a desire to want to fly fighters in the military, and if you aren't 100% with it anyway they navy isnt going to take you anyway. Eg. I want to fly KC-135s and the like in the Air National Guard, sure when they do a flyover its to recruit but my mind is already set.
About fuel burn, thats just a factor of any aircraft, but its just a fact of aviation and I dont have a problem with that whatsoever.

Good job Mark. You have shown 3 minutes and 23 seconds of valuable information on an event that the corporate-controlled media is afraid to show.
Not even a microdot on the scale of fuel used to provide the electricity you depend on and refuse to live without everyday. You even used it for you microphones and voice amps....that also was an necessary use of electricity. So you pick your reasonable excepttons to conserving energy (music and entertainment - I am sure you listen to the radio and watch tv) and others will pick theirs: automobiles, boats and planes.

@markhyde43 I don't listen to radio or watch tv, but I certainly live on the grid and consume energy. My husband and I have reduced our energy consumption the past few years by thinking through ways to save -- such as heating water differently, and not using backup heat unless we are away. Right now the federal government claims there is a budget crisis, so they should be eliminating frills and concentrating on funding basic needs.
