Another improvised, simple 12-bar blues in root positions - this time in the key of E - shown entirely as a close-up on the fretting hand. Note that you can substitute a C7 for an A7 when following the B7 chord in the 10th bar...

  • Wow - listening to you has been surreal - I have been playing for 35 years and I have never heard anyone who played exactly like me! Jamming with you is like jamming with myself. Spiritual my friend - I will post some and you tell me what you think - you just made my week!! Thanks!!

  • Well.. I look forward to hearing some of your stuff - a musical doppelganger is always fun to hear... :-)

  • Thank you for presentig us the tabs and your playing on video as well.

You made me bringing the guitar down from the top of my cabinet.

    All the best to you,

    gds

  • Excellent, gds - all you have to do now is play it! :-) Will

  • What is that guitar? It sounds great. Are you playing through an amp?

  • It's a Larrivée OM-03RE acoustic. It does have a Baggs pickup, but I'm recording acoustically it with a Shure SM58 mic. :-)

Never played blues before, and even all the little variations fit right in, I could sit and jam with you for a good while! You have my praise. No wonder I was never as good as others, I never learned the blues!
