Interesting method to pulling the log. Enjoyed watching

Very nice video! Maybe, it took bit longer, than any usual customer would be ready to pay, but the cart as such and the technique is very interesting. There is just one thing, that I will never understand: Why do they cut the tail!?

Handsome animal, healthy! Interesting to see the older ways still respected. Also gives older men a reason for their appetite other than sitting. They feel still needed.

why does it matter how long it takes? surely the activity itself is more important then a spead record? also, these gentlemen obviously have the time to spend! leave them to enjoy the outdoors and the horse forestry! dont be so critical.

I pulled out a lot of logs and never spent that much time getting a log ready to pull down a strait level rd.

This log is just a stick, so much work for the link while you can put it on your back to carry him!

@hoof2prints Wow, defensive much? I was simply stating that the title of the video was misleading. The title says that the vid is about draft horses, but 90% of the video didn't even have a horse in frame.
This was at the end of the day, earlier the trees were a foot or two wide. It is a way also to train the horses not just for practical work. If you want to do it easiest way someone would get a tractor. Life is not always about easy.

6:30 of nitwits hitching a log, 15 seconds of horse. Crap.

@obfg2 What have you done lately? Those who criticize rarely do anything else.
