Get his album "Lead Me On" I listen to it two or three times in a row sometimes. Simply beautiful.

Went to see KJP last night at Komedia in Brighton........absolutely incredible player, his ability to improvise so freely around the chord structure comes from his roots as a jazz player....but even then a rare thing. Live he seems almost to stumble upon his own tunes, such a loose player. may as well cut off my hands and burn the guitar really!!!

I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about music matters but can I ask how I never heard of this genius up until today? I have watched 20 videos in a row, absolutely brilliant, hooked.

I am with you. I look over youtube all the time and feel like I know a ton of great players but my buddy just told me about this guy. I went on and my jaw dropped. He is a sick kinda good.

i just can't stop watching/listening to this one! with respectful vehemency, i must disagree with you, mel0dymaker - i think the emotion of this song is much better expressed in this performance than in the studio recording on "shine eyed mister zen"...unless, of course, you are referring to another alternative version of this cover other than the one that appears on that album, in which case i'm all ears!!
