Recently read two of Fanon's books. "The Wretched of the Earth" and "Studies in a dying Colonialism." 'Algeria Unveiled' was especially interesting to me because the french govt. is *still* trying to restrict women's right to wear the burqa. even though the french no longer control algeria they are still targeting Algerian culture/religion in France, trying to force women to assimilate.
If Fanon were alive he would've said all that a lot more eloquently...
