Here's a quick background: I'm studying Graphic Design at University and had a few weeks off with not much to do. So I decided to do something related to graphic design but also do to with music. I noticed there are a lot of videos which showcase the lyrics of songs but are pretty dull and uninspired. So here is something I did in my spare time. The Gaslight anthem are my favourite band and this was just one of the ways I could show that.
The design is based off the Senor and the Queen EP cover which reminded me of an old photo album, notably the photo's border. I chose a vintage type and did my best to add some worn, old fashioned effects to them and the pictures. I used Windows Movie Maker to edit the video so it's nothing complex just a few transitions and photo editing.
For my next video I intend to make one based around Arcade fire, I am Kloot or maybe the National. I may even take song request if like the song of course.
