Edgar Mithchell never saw any aliens because he never went to the moon.  They are trying to make it more difficult to expose the Apollo fraud by saying the Apollo astronauts saw UFO's. Here's a link to some of the evidence that they faked Apollo.

If it was true that some superiors of the military - intelligence community deliberately and willfully covered this incident up and lied to the general public about what happened at Roswell, New Mexico and other events like it that would conclude the questions regarding this topic; then all those who were responsible should be tried for public treason and put in jail.
