@Shushubearwhoo Most people hate them because they think their dirty (they eat their prey alive). I love hyenas though. They are good hunters that don't even really NEED to kill their prey instantly. They don't have long teeth for suffocation and they can finish an entire zebra carcass in half an hour.

@Shushubearwhoo plus.. hyenas are not exactly weak, and there are way more of them than lions, with their vast number I don't see why they need to steal. They could hunt but they don't. That's exactly why people hate them. Try to make a comparison with humans with hyena traits, wouldn't you hate them too?
