F'ing WOW...Joe and Beth... doing Sam Cooke justice!...I remember when I first heard the song in 1964 the day it was released .......on the radio. I lived in Philly and I heard it on WMMR FM before it was played on AM radio ...soon it became one of the Top 40's on AM in Philly.....Sam Cooked was inspired to write and record the song when he heard Bob Dylan's 1963 song," Blowin in the Wind." from the albumn, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan in 1963... a protest song that applies today 2011. Occupy NYC
