Here's Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa singing an AMAZING cover of A Change Is Gonna Come at The Echoplex in Los Angeles, CA on September 19, 2011. A Change Is Gonna Come was originally performed by Sam Cooke. This was such a magical night where everything just CLICKED! Beth, band (Jon Nichols, Todd Wolfe, Tom Lily) and special guest Joe Bonamassa were on FIRE! If you haven't had a chance to catch these AMAZING artists, you REALLY need to! Beth and Joe NEVER disappoint. Beth and Joe's album "Don't Explain" is out on iTunes and Amazon and worth EVERY PENNY. It's a cover album of all soul/blues greats featuring songs from Ray Charles, Tom Waits, Melody Bardot, Bill Withers, Billy Holiday, Etta James, Brook Benton, Delaney and Bonnie, and Aretha Franklin.

  • OMG I do not have the words to explain how this makes me feel -

    Awesome seems understated.

  • F'ing WOW...Joe and Beth... doing Sam Cooke justice!...I remember when I first heard the song in 1964 the day it was released .......on the radio. I lived in Philly and I heard it on WMMR FM before it was played on AM radio ...soon it became one of the Top 40's on AM in Philly.....Sam Cooked was inspired to write and record the song when he heard Bob Dylan's 1963 song," Blowin in the Wind." from the albumn, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan in 1963... a protest song that applies today 2011.
