"Texas in My Rear View Mirror" by Mac Davis (1980)

Mac Davis's "Texas in my Rear View Mirror" was a #9 Counrtry Music Hit in 1980. It was released on the Casablanca Records LP at the end of 1980 and became a #12 Country Music Album in early 1981. Mac Davis is best none for his #1 Pop Hit "Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me" in 1972. Mac had 7 Top 10 Country Music Hits, 17 Top 40 Hits and 11 Top 40 Country Albums. Mac had his own TV variety show between 1974 and 1976. Mac Dvis is also s great songwriter with songs like "In the Ghetto" and "Don't Cry Daddy" by Elvis in his songbook.
