  • Wonderful music selection and photograph selection, Sayleman. Were you on the set to take those pictures?

I am anticipating the 50th Anniversary version of The Alamo completely restored from the original negatives.

  • Thanks SuperJC10, glad you liked it. no I was not on the actual film set for the photos. some are from friends and some I found on the web although some of the real Alamo photos are ones I took in San Antonio a couple of years ago.

I too eagerly await the 50th anniversary DVD..... if it happens ?

  • Very nice. Both music and photos.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

  • Nicely done. Was tha the London Philharmonic's version of "Green Leaves Of Summer"?

  • No Nef, it was the City of Prague philharmonic with The Crouch End Festival Chorus.

  • @SuperJC10 TRES BELLE IMAGES....BELLE MUSIQUE...POURQUOI TEMPS DE MORTS....LA BETISE APPARTIENS A L'HOMME....QU'ILS REPOSE EN PAIX........

  • That was so good, I went to San Antonio, a few years ago to see the Alamo, wish i had gone to see this as well, thank you for this.

  • Fascinating. That was a real treat!

    Thank you.

  • we visited in 1999. I had heard from someone that tried to go there recently that it had closed. I told him it was a pity.we had a wonderful time there that day.

  • I went to alamo village 11-2008 it was awsome! With my wife and three kids they loved it. We stoped on are way to big bend nat. park. Well worth the drive to see bolth of them.

  • The set closed a couple of months with the death of Mrs. Shehan. Alamo Village has a website, and it is possible the set will reopen sometime, but that is dependent on the Sheehan family heirs. I visited it once, back in January 1995. It is well worth the trip out from San Antonio, and hopefully the set will one day reopen to the public.

  • nice ive always wanted to see the john wayne alamo movie set

  • I would like to thank you for sharing your pictures, I'ed like to go there someday and see it for myself. well done.
