Borderlands is a science fiction first-person shooter with RPG elements that is developed by Gearbox Software for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The console versions of the game were released on October 20, 2009, and the Windows version was follow on October 26, 2009. The game was first revealed in the September 2007 issue of Game Informer magazine.
