  • @MrTheking350 I have seen every single Zatoichi movie and tv show that I could get my hands on. Who are you to say I can't upload a clip from the newest one? It was a trip down memory lane, at the same time as seeing a newer re-make. Who are you to deny my clip upload?

  • i gotta say, im not even an expert, but even i can identify that as a weaker version of zatoichi. that is clearly not the strength of the zatoichi that we have come to admire.

  • @Nave2100 He has black hair. Could this be a younger and therefore less experienced Zatoichi? I'm just saying.

  • @DynamiteKiwi who says superman is invincible? ever heard of kryptonite?

  • @DynamiteKiwi yes, it's more realistic that way, so you can relate to it better, it also makes for better tension because you actually feel the threat in the fight, because it could go either way, Superman by the way is bullshit xD, but I can't really judge because i'm not a comic book fan

  • who cares if he wasn't as super as the original. the original is also like 50-60, so it makes sense that a younger version is less experienced. i like it when the "heroes" are on the weaker side, the fact that they barely win makes them more "human" I guess...IDK how to explain it, but its the same reason why i HATE superman, hes invincible. the score though totally makes this clip epic.

  • Excellent clip. I love all things samurai. I grew up on the old black and white samurai movies in the 60's.

  • The fuck? This blind samurai is useless.

He is better off begging for money.

  • The purists like me will never be happy with anyone but the original Ichi. I personally feel that Sean Connery is still the best James Bond and Shintaro Katsu is the best Zatoichi, but I can understand that a new generation wants to see fresh faces playing this classic role. Leave this vid up in the hope that new Ichi fans may want to compare this to Katsu and witness the genius of his subtle humor, his goofy charm, his warm compassion and most importantly, his lightning-fast slicing and dicing!

  • I watched my first Zatoichi back in 1970 when I was still a kid, and it is in black & white. IMHO this movie lacks of Shintaro's quality in interpreting a low profile, funny, kind blind man that also a real swordsman. (See how this actor holds the katana, the footwork, and facial expression vs Shintaro Katsu). It is just a bad interpretation covered with a better cinematographic technology. Do Iike it? I like the old one better. Delete it? No, it has some value in it.

  • @cure105 Someone set us up the bomb

  • never will be another Zatoichi, Zatoichi there is only one and that is Mr. Shintaro that is already sitting on the side of Buddha, very sad for the way they imitate, Zatoichi 2010 does not work, it's garbage, but this excellent leave here this video for people to see the difference, Zatoichi LORD oF tHE BEST FOREVER Shintaro
