This episode was completed on July 2nd, 1995. It features lots of cheats, such as Game Genie codes for Super Punch-Out for the SNES, and a stage select and debug trick for Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis.

We also have reviews to Donkey Kong Country, and Super Return of the Jedi. Now, let me put to rest any issues you may have with the episode.

I still copied heavily from Gamepro TV of the 90's. If you look at some Youtube episodes, you'll see I lifted lines and expressions from there. We eventually wrote better dialogue, hehe.

Next, you may notice during the NES games shown, I'm using music from SNES games. I have no idea why I did that. I don't think I knew back then, either.

And yes, all graphics are done on Mario Paint. I was 16, what do you want?

  • Since you won't show us the first episode, could you enlighten us as to what games you reviewed in said episode?

  • I might upload it someday, but since you asked.

    Spider-Man Vs Kingpin (Sega CD)

    Super Punch-Out (Super NES)

They were really crappy reviews, like a minute and a half each. I was just first starting out, and didn't really tell you much about these games.

  • What is the song for the Video Review intro?

  • That's from Sonic CD. I believe it's the "clear stage" theme.

Back in 1995, there wasn't royalty free music we could use (that we knew of, anyway)

  • Any friends in school or anything support the show?

  • Not a lot of friends saw these, especially the early ones. The only episodes shown in school were

Episode 9 in my writing class.

Episode 7 in my english class.

Episode 5, english class, but on the last day of school, so I think like..2 other students saw it.

At least today, there are people who see the show.

  • I must say, the title cards for each segment are pretty impressive considering you did them in Mario Paint. That was pretty resourceful and I'm kind of jealous actually because I'm bad with Mario Paint, but I still love it. So, I've been wondering, how did you distribute your episodes to people back then?

  • arent grandmas just great that way? im a total grandmas boy myself haha, me and her used to play diddy kong racing together actualy :P

and i think its just freakin awsome that after all these years your still filming in the original videomasters "studio"

  • Hey, better than no reviews at all.

  • I just LOVE the 80s and early/mid 90's I really envy you guys.

  • thanks. i knew i heard it before, but couldn't recall where.
