"A Kevin Jonas Love Story" chapter 80

Thanks to Paige for writing that sad chapter in her story about Nick and so I needed to write about him because of it. So sorry to everyone who wanted to hear more about Kevin and Maria.




Nick's POV..............................


I know I've only been back at school for a couple of days but it's been so hard avoiding Emily. She's been calling me and texting me and I know it's been weird for Lacey but she's been so good about it. At least to my face. Then just as I was thinking that, she walked up to me.
Emily: Hi
Nick: Hi
Emily: I know you have been avoiding me and it's ok, I guess. I just really been wanting to talk to you.
Nick: Well we're talking
Emily: Can we go somewhere, that we can be alone.
Nick: um...I don't think that's a good idea
Emily: Fine... I just wanted to know if you and Lacey are an item...since the last time we talked all you said was not quite.
Nick: Yes, we're together now. Why do you ask?
Emily: I wish you didn't sound so happy about.
Nick: I'm sorry you feel that way. So why do you need to know again.
Emily: I thought maybe...well. Look Nick I'm still in love with you.
Just as she said those words this tall guy comes up behind her, kisses her cheek and says "hey babe".
Nick: *looks back at her* I can see clearly that you still are....good luck with that.
I walked away and looked up to see Lacey standing by the car waiting for me. She must have saw the whole thing, she had a funny look on her face.
Nick: Hey, what's wrong.
Lacey: Are you gonna tell me what happened or is it none of my business.
Nick: I'll tell you in the car, but right now I just really want to kiss you.
I lean towards her and slowly touch her lips. She tastes so good and I'm forgetting we are in public. We get in the car and I happened to glance in the other direction and I saw Emily still standing there. She looked down and then walked away with the guy.
Lacey: Well that's not a good sign
Nick: what?
Lacey: you looking back at her.
Nick: I just wanted to make sure that she saw me making out with you so she can leave me alone. *leans in for another kiss but she backs away*
Lacey: *she's driving away now* That's not funny, Nicholas
Nick: oh my god, that's hot
Lacey: What is
Nick: The way you just said my whole name like that now I know why Joe says that he likes it so much.
Lacey: wow, first...I didn't need to know that about Joe and second we really need to talk about this.
Nick: *she stops in front of the apartment and shuts the car off* ok tell me what's on your mind
Lacey: what are we?
Nick: What do you mean?
Lacey: I mean am I your girlfriend or what?
Nick: Do you think I go around making love to my friends?
Lacey: I'm serious Nick
Nick: So am I. If you didn't know that we are let me make this official. *I take her hand* Will you be my girlfriend?
Lacey: I hate you for being so charming, yes.....which leads me to my other question.
Nick: ok
Lacey: She's been calling and texting you for a while now. Did she tell you why?
Nick: Yeah, she said she still loves me
I watched her face turn pale, and she kinda sat back in her seat. She looked like she was afraid of what else I would say.
Nick: when she said that I was about to tell her that she is just going to have to live with the fact that I love someone else now.
I waited to see what she would do. Her face kinda changed but I don't think it really sank in. I watched the color in her face go from pale to a sexy shade of pink. I didn't really expect her to say anything right away. We get out of the car finally and walk upstairs. She puts the keys in the door and opens it. We see boxes everywhere and we are very confused.
Lacey: What's going on?
Kevin: We're moving...into the house
Nick: What? I thought you were gonna wait until you were married.
Maria: Well uh we decided we couldn't wait to move in......but as a gift to you Lacey. I want you to have the apartment.

Okay M I was laying in bed thinking about this today lol yes again with random timing but didnt she get the apartment because she worked for that company answering phones???? But she quit and still lives in the apartment? Maybe Im loosing it lol

no if I remember correctly they were separate like it wasn't the companies apartment she got the apartment just cuz it was easier for her to get to work
