http://www.chambermagic.com/ - Things to do in NYC - Steve Cohen, The Millionaires' Magician, performs internationally for celebrities, tycoons and aristocrats.

When he is not traveling, Cohen can be found at New York's famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel performing his sold-out public show: 'Chamber Magic.' Cohen recreates the intimacy of 19th century parlor performances by baffling his guests in the close quarters of a private suite.

  • @imgame21 Yes, you are right. That is not my uncle. Please read my comment above. The TV producers made a mistake - I gave them two photos, one with Slydini, and one with my uncle Nat. They used the wrong one, much to my family's dismay. Anyhow, thanks for your comment!

  • Steve Cohen's first magic teacher, his great uncle Nat Zuckerman, went on to become famous for a little gem which he named after his former alias... "Slydini Silks" :O).

  • Thank you for your comments.

Re: the Slydini photo - the television editors made a mistake with the photo of Slydini, much to my (and my family's) disappointment.

I gave the producers a photo of my uncle, and a separate photo of Slydini.

    They used the wrong one.

I received a funny email from a NY magician saying, "I took lessons with your uncle too."

  • Wonderful. I wish more magicians would follow Steve Cohen's example and present magic with this amount of artistry and good taste. This is the way it's supposed to look.

  • Awesome!
