i just watched this vid then went to the local woods and found a class ring but the name in worn off and the ring is not from a school around here so ohwell i was going two return it but no one clamed it.

Great story! How did you track down the owners? This year I reunited a 1976 class ring I found with its owner when I listed the ring info on "class ring finder dot com". Also, if anyone reading this has lost a class ring, check out the website, maybe someone has found it and listed it there! It's a wonderful thing to get a lost class ring back on the hand of its owner!

Hey artifactman660.........I am actually from Maryland, and collect artifacts from Missouri, Florida & here.....when I can find them!!! Thanks for the invite, and I admire your interest in metal detecting. That's something that I would like to get back into. I don't have any videos, however, I am doing a dig later this Fall and I may videotape any finds.

@pyrolytic you know honesty is what we need more of in the world today! i know a lot of people out there would have kept those rings and hocked them off for a few bucks but that just isnt me. the one ring i know cost that kid or his parents 1000 bucks. im not saying im better than anybody else because i know im not,im just saying it pays to have some honesty and integrity about ones self.
