Mike Bailey : Pre-Demo Reel

This is my Pre-Demo Reel video that I've created to update my website with in the interim between now and the next few weeks when my demo reel will be complete. Here is a breakdown of the Projects and how I was involved:

Crab Mech (SK-1408): Originally concepted by Rich Doble (Insane Visions) of Massive Black notoriety, he generously gave me permission to create this model. I modeled, texture concepted, textured, lighted, and rendered this model. Jesse Cappa is currently rigging this model and will be animated for my finished reel. This video shows a 360 degree rotation of the model with two examples of my texture mapping.

Sisu: The Death of Tom Sukanen: (chrystene.com/sisu/htmls/sisuhome.htm)
This is a short film that was released as an official selection of the Montreal World Film Festival of 2009. I modeled and textured the window in the first shot, and added a higher detail pass to the ship which was included in many other shots throughout the film, the second shot shown being the most prominent of these shots.

Edward's Room and Big Tuna's are both entirely my own creations. I modeled each of these scenes, and am currently working on completing the texturing of each. They will be fully textured, and at least one pass of each environment will be fully rendered for my finished demo reel.
