Say goodbye to the remote. GestureTek Demonstrates A Gesture Control TV with the companys patented 3D tracking and control technology on The Today Show. GestureTek's 3D depth tracking and control system uses depth sensing cameras to track full body movement and hand gestures in 3D space. 3D visualization software recognizes nearly any pose or gesture, translating movements into computer commands to control electronic devices and displays. Other applications include full-body 3D avatar control, 3D two-handed and multi-touch control and 3D hand tracking for 360º of navigation control. Depth tracking allows for exciting interactive 3D virtual reality experiences.
@FellowLad Lol, Gesturetek is watching their dollar signs dwindle with each kinect sold... hahahaha

good luck playing your wii or ps3 kinetic on this TV. Also this doesn't solve the problem of fighting over the remote, since you have to fight over who chooses to get the dominance setting (which means the tech savvy guy who knows how to operate the menus gets it, while leaving grandma helpless). At least this gives you more exercise than a regular remote, thus defeating the itself as a laziness device.
