Also, your defense of using DR's includes the fact that it kills off EN def gouges. Well, that also kills design diversity in the game. Part of the game really is design metagaming - predicting what type of design your opponent will use and bringing out one of your own that will counter it or do well all-around. By saying that DR's makes everything even to truly determine who is better doesn't take into account one factor - design. This also in turn destroys over 50% of the game.

Governator, you're not seeing this the way you should be. You're thinking of DR's as the great equalizer, when really it's not. It just makes things easier for both people. As far as verts and cover strategies go, you do realize that verts can be dodged, don't you? How do you counter a tactic like cover use with verts? Dodge the verts while using cover tactics of your own of course. You don't have to use verts, but you can use cover to your own advantage and possibly cut the other guy off.

But.. you are a liar. You said DR's have always been around, for many years, in all AC games. You claim to be good but you're defending the nature of an over used and tired tool which is broken, dont understand the concept of broken or the difference between a newb and a noob. No. No you havent been playing this game for very long at all. Double Rifles werent even available until recently, and they were useless until 4 compared to the plethora of other weapons available. Rifles have been a staple but mediocre weapon through out the series. in 4 they were broken. They did fix the issue. The problem has been fixed in For Answer. You're both a newbie and a liar, and judging from your mannerisms.. a noob to boot. Its people like you that alienate this game's playerbase.

Iam no noob I did not ask for your input about the gameI have played since the first game came out iam simply saying if the creators of AC4 and any other AC game DID NOT WANT DR THEY WOULD TAKEN IT OUT OR REMOVED RIFLES as for answer I have little intrest in since the game has many fuck ups already and for over 10yrs the creators of AC have been makeing all AC games have DR for example white glint and supplice.

too weak. Rifles were fixed in For Answer, although missiles are a little too weak.. there's a lot of essentially useless launchers in For Answer when compared to other models. I personally dont worry about DR's in either. I vastly prefer one on one duels where my heavy mechs have the advantage and can often attain such.
