  • I hope you are right -- I always get so nervous when I make an item as a gift that the person is going to hate it. It's a complex!

  • You must have sone a few of these! You are so fast!

I need to finish off my Kaiser "Love" album!

and I had forgotten how to as I haven't done any for a long time!

    Thank you!

  • I get ideas from many sources & I don't always approach layouts from the same direction.

Most often I have a particular story I want to tell, so I print my pictures and choose the page kit with the papers and embellishments that complement the mood I am trying to convey.

Ideas for layouts come from magazines, books, conversations with people, my subconscious brain -- pretty much anywhere! I am going to have a series of articles in May on my blog about my scrapping process with more details.

  • oops, hit the send button by mistake.

... but how do you originally come up with your layouts. I am new to this (as you Know) and I never know how to begin.

Thanks for all your inspiration. Brenda

  • LOL! I saw on your profile that your hometown is Miami. Definitely look me up next time you're paying your mom a visit (if you have time). It's easy for me to move my computer to free up the second desk & make room for anther cropper!
