@jlesow Thanks! I've listened to both of them carefully, and what I hear is the theme - Jurassic Park main theme in JP video - and a totally different traditional Russian Christmas Carol theme here - starting at times indicated by you. JP theme is in 4/4 - Russian Christmas Carol is in 3/4. Totally different melody as well. The only similarity I hear is the 2 chord harmonic structure of the melody - which is true for 4 bars for Russian songs and for 2 bars of JP theme - that's all I could find.

@jlesow Yes, I believe, it is a traditional Russian Christmas hymn - "Christ Is Born". Why Jurassic Park??? I love the soundtrack (and very familiar with it) - but don't recognize any theme similar to this one.

If you skip to 4:55 you'll hear a familiar theme from Jurassic Park. Is that a Russian folk melody?

@detah1 I don't hear a lot of similarities - maybe, some. This song was composed in mid-90's - long before " When Christmas Comes To Town.". It has couple of traditional Russian Christmas melodies incorporated into the texture of the song, as I hear it - "Song of the Christmas Tree" and traditional Russian Christmas Carol. But the rest is completely original music, though. It does sound great!
