I was 5 when I had to have 8 teeth out. In England, at the time, gas was still used in dental practices. I remember having this big mask put on my face, whilst 2 assistants held me down. It smelled like salt. I tried to fight, I tried holding my breath but I was panicking too much, I even tried spitting into the mask for some reason. My mother started crying because before I'd been screaming for her make them stop but of she she couldn't do anything. Afterwards it took 24 hours for the effect...

of the gas to wear off. I just remember my dad carrying me from the dentist then waking up in my nanna's bed. I had to live of nothing but soup until my gums healed up. I suppose that's one of the main reasons I get so nervous about going to the dentist now, even for check ups... Well that's my story. Good thing they don't use gas any more though, only took a few kids to comatose before they stopped it.

My wisdom teeth are really bothering me a lot. I am going to the dentist tomorrow for them to look at them and see when I need to get them taken out. Lol. I have a small mouth too! Haha! I hope you feel better once you got them taken out and it wasn't too painful! (:
