Dracula:
Belmont, son of Belmont.
I've been waiting for you.

Richter:
Dracula. Die now, and leave this world.
You'll never belong here!

Dracula:
Oh, but this world invited me.
Your own kind called me forth with praise and tribute.

Richter:
Tribute? You're a thief.
You steal men's souls,
their freedom...

Dracula:
Freedom is always sacrificed to faith, good hunter.
Or are you truly here by choice?

Richter:
All I'm here for is you.
To hell with your heresy!
You're nothing but a blight on mankind.

  • "YOUR WORDS ARE AS EMPTY AS YOUR SOUL"

  • I enjoy the older version's dialogue in the cheesy, infinitely quotable way that one can only love classic, bad video game dialogue. It's great, and it comes from a time when nothing else was trying things like that.

That said, this version is insanely powerful. It makes the relationship between Richter and Dracula a personal vendetta, and it establishes Dracula as someone who can fuck with your head and shake your faith in your beliefs just by talking to you. "And die for their sins!"

  • @TheDirector999 The true irony is that this dialogue is exclusive to the handheld version, and even then it only comes with the version included in Dracula X Chronicles.

  • What in the actual FUCK!!?!

  • who ruined this dialogue????

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ WHY... JUST TELL ME WHY???

  • ZOMBIE DRACULA LEAVE THIS PLACE

  • BOO!! Do you think the guy who re-wrote this dialog went home and said "Well that was a good days effort. I really fixed something that was fundamentally broken" or *BANG* then never said anything again.

  • I prefer..."But enough take, have at you!" As a fitting beginning for a fight. It suits the timeline more.
