Jesus' existence: the full range of views:
Almost everyone believes that Jesus walked the Holy Land in the early part of the 1st century CE. Many have never considered the alternative - that Jesus was a mythical being. Most Christians would probably consider such an idea to be blasphemy:
A conservative Christian, who believes in the inerrancy (freedom from error) of the Bible, and the inspiration by God of its authors, might cite passages from the Bible as proof of his existence. The gospels link Jesus' birth and crucifixion to historical persons and events. They describe his sayings, conversations, prayers and actions in great detail.
Many liberal Christians view Jesus as a great Jewish prophet and innovative, itinerant teacher. Even though they do not necessarily consider him divine, few ever question his existence.
Muslims also believe that Jesus was a great prophet. They do not believe that he died on the cross, but they definitely accept that he was born of a virgin, lived in Palestine in the early 1st century CE, and ascended to heaven without having previously died.
Many Jewish theologians regard Jesus as an itinerant rabbi of the 1st century CE who popularized many of the beliefs of the Pharisees and of teachings of Hillel the Elder, a first century BCE philosopher.
However, there are some individuals who disagree that the biblical accounts of Jesus are accurate:
Some claim that Jesus is simply a mythical character, not a historical person.
Others believe that the myths and legends associated with other religious leaders and founders were collected from Egypt, Persia, India, etc. They were rewritten to refer to a person in first century CE Palestine, who may or may not have existed.
Who cares if he Existed? He died for the Sins of a Mud Man & Rib Woman, who were given a forbidden fruit by a talking Snake! And they never EXISTED!

Even a report observing the claims in disparaging terms would suffice as evidence of existence.
For contemporary commentators to totally ignore such events is ridiculous. The Roman writers were prolific documenters of everything, however banal. They didn't even react to claims of zombie crowds in their cities?
Of course a Jew called Jesus might have existed, but the nub is that there is zero mention for such a character. Then someone mentions a legend, 150 years later?

If Shakespeare had claimed to be divine, had performed magic, and returned from the dead, honest analysis would require at least a morsel historical validation prior to a brief mention 150 years after his death to even begin to suppose he existed at all.
If Galileo caused the cemeteries to empty as the dead wandered the streets of his city greeting their families, you bet you'd need some contemporary mention or discussion of such bizarre events to entertain any kind of respectable credibility.

That JP guy sounds just like Astrobrant2.
It would have been interesting if the archaeological evidence for Nazareth were discussed.
From what I've been able to glean, Nazareth was founded circa 100 CE (+/-30 Years). Jesus 'Of Nazareth' was born 100 years earlier.

@odephraimchai I know all about the 12 tribes, the prophecies, the 144,000, two stickx, 2 lampstands, 2 witnesses, the chosen people, Book of Revelation, blah blah blah. Its all a bunch of hooey, written with an agenda -my religion is best religion, etc. On the other side, there is no religion - all creation, life/souls is equal. Even atheists believe in God on the other side. God is. Life lives. Souls keep living. The kingdom on earth/govt on earth thing is bs doctored writings for control.

@sydfan526 Agreed, however, the referrances to the 12 tribes,144000,two sticks , two witnesses, two branches, etc. are the chosen of Yahweh to run the kingdom of heaven.
These are the chosen ones refered to as the house of Israel and house of Judah the 144000 virgins which never worshiped idols and have the set apart Spirit. the chosen few. The two trees of life Yahshua (kings & Priests) and Moses(the people).
They are made Kings and Priests to run the government on earth.

@odephraimchai Agreed! - most important is knowing Creator exists- and to know that scriptures in Old Testament are just as doctored as New Testament. I'm very aware of the Torah/OT references to the name of Yahweh. re: Yahweh and his people...everybody is his people. All are Creations, deserving of his love. Not just Jews, Not just christians. not just jehovas witnesses. religion doesn't matter if u are Hindu, Muslim,or Jew - or athiest. All spirits keep living on other side with Love.

Yahshua is the word it is so simple, but many christians altered the word and even made false gospel and claim them for the writings of 12 Apostles. Than, they put the false Apostle paul in the gospels just to to add more confusion. But, this was the will of Yahweh to put a test before all of us. The word of of yahweh is not Yahweh, but comes from Yahweh.
Yahweh is knowledge ,wisdom and understanding this is the Spirit put in us. Yahshua said put my spirit in them as you put your Spirit in me.

@odephraimchai Notice that the Word of Yahweh clearly says that Yahweh of Hosts sent Him, the Word of Yahweh, to Zechariah.
And finally notice And the word of Yahweh of hosts came to me, saying, Thus says Yahweh of hosts . . ." (Zechariah 8:1-2, 18-19). Don't these passages make it pretty clear that Yahshua is the Word of Yahweh of Hosts and not in fact Yahweh of Hosts? If not, who else is there that can be called the Word of Yahweh?
