選手宣誓 Student's oath - 日本の学校の運動会 Japanese school sports day #6

Eleventh part of 風さわやかに(Kaze sawayaka ni - Refreshing Wind), a celebration video made by the 越谷市立富士中学校(Fuji junior High School, Koshigaya City) in 越谷市(Koshigaya), 埼玉県(Saitama prefecture), in year 1997. Here are some shoots from the school sports festival. During this, students challenge themselves in various sport competitions. IN this video, students march for the festival presentation, and a representative from them spells an oath. Here's the translation of this speech:

宣誓 (Sensei)
Oath

我々、選手一同は (Wareware, senshu ichidou wa)
We, every player

日ごろの練習の成果を十二分に発揮し(Higorono renshuu no seika wo　juu ni bun ni hakkishi)
Will show all results of the effort we've usually trained for

正々堂々最後まで闘い尽くすことを誓います (Seisei doudou　saigomade tatakai tsukusu koto wo sakaimasu)
And we swear we will fairly play with alll our strength till the end

平成九年九月三十日(Heisei ku nen kugatsu sanjuu nichi)
