Nice start, Lots of Solar gain and wind protection...keep your eye on internal temperatures, over 90 can kill some ...Herbs....Otherwise it is always a bite when High winds off of bad arse storms try to bend your plants unmercifully. My Peppers are popping, lettuce exploding along with Basil and Cylantro.

Yeah, basil is really awesome! I grow it in the same pots as my peppers, they're supposed to make them taste better.

I am interested in trying this , could you tell me the sizes that you used for the shorts and the longs and the over all sizes of your dome ?

@hd2kill I kept the size of my dome just below 15 sqm (161 sqft) because that's where I'd have to apply for a permit here in Finland.

All the sizes of the struts and everything I've calculated online on a site called geo-dome.co.uk. But there are plenty of sites that have a calculator. It's actually really easy. All you have to is punch in your radius and it's tell you all the lenghts and angles. Plus it tells you floor area, circumference and area of the actual dome.

@hd2kill My videos aren't really instructional masterpieces. Just documentation of what I've done and which parts were easy and which parts were a pain in the behind... There's a lot of other good videos there and I hope mine will contribute to people like you who might build one yourself ;-) Enjoy!

I'll try to mixin some basil mit peppers in the same pot....always up for new alchemy referring to herb gardening and cultivation therein.
