People who still think Kias are bad cars are those people who do not accept new concepts and new ideas. Plus Kia is not a cheap car or a tacky car, its price is almost the same as the traditional brands but it´s got a great warranty.

The thing with Korean cars is that the buttons feel very cheap, reminds me of joysticks for video games. Even on their high end models.

I own a kia forte, and in no way does the kia forte look like a corolla . . . theres only one part of the car that looks like the civic and thats the line just in front of and below the windshield on either side, this is not a "copycat" car, suddenly the former lead designer from Audi is copying the honda civic and toyota corolla because he cant make a car of his own? I don't think so . . .

@kamilo653 in my country Kias are substantially more affordable than the competition. Civics cost almost twice as much. my 1.6 Forte delivered really excellent value.
