Jack Overfull - Travels (Pat Metheny) - Hammond cover

I originally learned Travels for a couple of gigs I did with my father a few months ago. Over time I started to really enjoy the composition, I find it can be interpreted on Hammond in many mays.

At those gigs of course my father played the melody on sax, with me and others backing, but this is my own "full Hammond" version, inspired by his, to the original one and to the one from Michael Brecker.

I don't usually play jazz (yet?), so I approached the composition as if it was something like a Procol Harum instrumental.

It's quite unlikely this will eventually appear on a Sormorock setlist, but it's still fun to play it from time to time.
