I think this kind of thinking may contribute to the expense of organic farming. You don't just substitute an organic pesticide for an artificial one. You're whole world view has to change. Plant garlic that you can sell to your distributers and you have two crops instead of one. Sure it might take another contract of some more long-term planning, but you're monetizing your pest control.
