The rematch of the 2010 NEC title game was a showcase for QU's James Johnson, who earned Ruby Tuesday Player of the Game honors after he scored a career and NEC single-game season-high 38 points. The game also marked the return of QU's Justin Rutty, who had missed the previous seven games with an elbow injury. Rutty finished with six points and 10 rebounds.
