@AnnicaJasmin German is a lot like dutch, so its not to hard to learn it for us.

@AnnicaJasmin Hey, I live in ´the country next door´ :) In Holland everybody has to learn German at school, but I quit German last year and only went on with French (you can quit schoolsubjects after your third year at secondary school). As for my dad, he is an architect at an international company. He was the only one who spoke german so he always gets the projects in Germany. He speaks German pretty much every day.

i like to hear that. i liked this movie too. (and i also love "pride and prejudice" ^^ ) i can imagine that it was hard to understand everything, because i know that learning german is not as easy as learning english. i´ve learned english for almost 10 years (i am not very good at speaking or writing ;o) but i am able to understand a lot) but even after 10 years english in school it is not easy for me to understand everything by watching an english movie.

@AnnicaJasmin Hey, it´s been some time, but I´ve watched one of the movies you´ve recommended; "Goethe"

I watched it with my dad with german subtitles (they're talking pretty quikly) Man, even my dad liked the movie!! :) Said the movie reminded him of 'pride and prejudice' (I normally watch movies with my mum or friends, dad doesn't really likes the movies I mainly watch ^.^)
