"Astrology Prelude" from the 2010 CD, Erik Norlander - The Galactic Collective. Performers are: Erik Norlander - keyboards, Mark Matthews - bass, Nick LePar - drums, Freddy DeMarco - electric and acoustic guitars, 3rd and 4th solos, and Ron Redfield - first guitar solo. This song was originally written for and appeared on the 2000 CD, Lana Lane - Secrets of Astrology, released by the Avalon label in Japan and Limb Music Products in Europe. Later versions also appeared on the Lana Lane "Storybook" DVD in 2004 and the Lana Lane "10th Anniversary Concert" CD/DVD package in 2005. This fourth version of the song expands the solo section from one solo to three solos, doubles the length of the acoustic / drum break and adds one more round to the outtro section. http://www.thetank.com

  • That brass...

  • I just heard this on Morow.com. This totally rocks!

  • Erik I love your music!

  • The complexity of this song is truly amazing. It is catchy and accessible, but there is so much going on. A really masterful composition and execution by all of them. Norlander is definitely the new progressive rock keyboard icon.

  • I guess that you are as good as on keyboards with computing programming...

  • Man, that's a lot of homework. The most amazing thing I have seen in a very long time.

  • No word can describe this awesomeness!

  • Always the best!!!

  • Holy crap, that A6 brass sound is INSANE.

  • Great tune; a composition so musical and accessible despite the complexity of the polyrhythms and chord progressions. This is some of the best new prog pop music of 2010!
