  • I grew up listening to Rebecca Caine on the Original Canadian Cast recording of Phantom.. she's always been the only true Christine to me, and it's lovely to see that after so much time has past, my constant inspiration and role model in regards to singing, is still able to sing as true to this song, as she had done so many years ago <3

  • i've never heard that cadenza before but it was still amazing. notice how she didn't need a microphone like everyone else does.

  • And *that*, ladies and gentlemen, is how you sing opera.

  • Shame how Christine was her least favourite role to play

  • Lovely.

  • I love Rebecca Caine as Christine...but Michael Crawford is still my favorite phantom.

  • I agree, "lovely" really is an apt description of Rebecca Caine.

  • @PhantomSongbird She was actually quite stunning to watch in person. I'm glad I got to see her performance a few times :)

  • it is the best version!

  • The best combination of the Phantom and Christine is undoubtably Rebecca Cain, and Colm Wilkinson.

Many other beautiful singers such as Sarah Brightman, but on this song, no one transitions the high notes so smoothly as Rebecca. A diva in her own right.
