This is #23 from a series of videos I assembled in 2007-2008, using animation segments generated by the Electric Sheep Project ( http://electricsheep.org/ ) that were sequenced using a program called "Shoop" ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/elshoop/ ).
It consists of a bunch of smaller video clips, each about 4 seconds long, strung together into a sequence rather like putting beads onto a string. When assembled in the right order, you get smooth, seamless animation that just keeps flowing from one clip to another.
This sequence was hand-picked, rather than completely computer-generated. (Granted, it's still 99.9999% computer generated! :-) ) I did this to guide it a bit and try to avoid getting caught in repeating loops.
And why am I posting #23 first? Well, it's the first of the 4 that I found remaining on my hard drive. I either wasn't that impressed with the first 22, or (more likely), I was just out of disk space at the time!
However, I've kept the original sequence lists and can re-generate the videos, as well as make an endless supply of others with the (over 25,000!) Sheep I've managed to collect over the past few years. I just wanted to put one or two out there and see how others like 'em.
If you're not already running the Electric Sheep screen saver, then hopefully this will show you why you should.
This clip is silent. Just set it to full-screen, and toss in some of your own favorite music. It's better that way. :-)
