The Wings toy with the Ducks for about two minutes. It looks like a powerplay but it isn't. Datsyuk has a few incredible moves, including one where he flips the puck over the net for a scoring chance.

  • wow.....I don't understand how anyone can't enjoy watching the Red Wings play. The play the most beautiful hockey in the league. Their puck control is a sight to behold.

  • Datsyuk is absolutely amazing. He can go 50 games without scoring and still be better than Ovechkin or Crosby. He can do anything!

  • powerplay is over by the way

  • I searched "Detroit Red Wings Incredible Shift" and it returned so many different videos it would take me half the day to watch them

  • And this is why people joke and call them the Detroit Globetrotters.

  • Detroit is like the Barcelona FC of hockey.

  • @Kaksisekuntiaaikaa Actually if you read my comment closely you would see that I am in fact talking about the Red Wings checking line (see the part where I mention Helm and Draper). And my original comment was talking about the Ducks' goons and why the Wings don't have many if any at all. In my second comment as I talked about the checking lines for both, I again bring up goons. You said every team has one and I said that there are differences between teams grind lines. Like goon to hardwork

  • @swalte6325 Stay focused. Your first comment implied that Ducks are (were) not a skilled team judging by their fourth line Brown-Marchant-Parros. I responded by saying that it is quite natural to have checking line(s). Then you went offtopic and started jabbering something about them (Ryan, Getz, Niedermayer...) being dirty players which has nothing to with their unquestionably high skill level. It seems to me that you're out here in Youtube trolling and trying to start fights. You're a goon.

  • @Kaksisekuntiaaikaa Thanks for agreeing that's too kind. Yeah the Wings have one but they aren't head hunters like that fine group of individuals you listed. Our grind line is consisted of hard workers and skaters that get to the dirty spots. I have yet to see Helm or Draper knock someone out with an elbow or keep trying to start shit with other players. If you have video of them doing that, then please, pass that along.

  • @swalte6325 Yeah, I think that Ryan, Getzlaf, Perry, Niedermayer and Pronger were just goons and couldn't play at all... have you ever heard of a thing called checking line? Even the Red Wings had one.

  • This is the difference between a skilled team and a tough guy team. The skilled team can and will always run circles around goons and thugs. I don't care that people say the Wings are soft, because if they can do things like this, who needs goons?
