The famous Pork and Coke experiment! I tested it out and also explained the reason for the parasites coming out of the meat! I made it since no other videos could explain why it happens good enough! :] Enjoy!

Wow you people are gullible. If there were worms or maggots in the pork you would see them when you cut up the pork before or after cooking, the coke can't make them appear out of nowhere, maybe if you let it sit for a day or two. Also, it is a misconception that pigs are dirty, they are in fact very clean and smart animals, they only appear dirty because they cannot sweat and must wallow in order to cool off. And trichinosis is pretty much non-existent in North America these days.

The experiment should have tried to be done with 4 pans, at the same time 2 pieces of the organic non frozen or frozen but under the same controls all meat taken out at the same time. The organic pork in metal pan and non organic in a different metal pan, and repeated with next to pieces in glass pans. It would have made your experiment a little more scientific but yours was great anyway. I always thought there was a different reason for the outcome. Did you try lamb? Wonder what would happen?

@ftsbabe Before meat is sold, it has to be trichinella tested. Just one of the usual food hygiene laws. It's illegal to sell trichinella infected meat.

Pigs are known to carry up to 200 diseases & 18 different parasites & worms, incl. the deadly worm called trichinella spiralis. This worm is commonly called trichinosis & there's no known cure for these spiral worms. The trichinae worms are so small & transparent that only trained inspectors using high-powered microscopes can detect their existence. Trichinosis can cripple or even kill anyone that eats as little as a forkful of contaminated food. Even cooking does NOT kill the trichinae worm.
